Having piped for over 20 years I sometimes forget the events and people I have played for.  Some of the most incredible things are meeting people years later and have them tell me how the Pipes made their event.  I still remember playing for my young cousin, Jerry John Duffy, in VA Beach after he was killed in a motorcycle accident.

I have instructed over 100 people on the bagpipes and some have grown into great competition pipers.  I have met children of people that were inspired to play the pipes from my performance that are now grade 1, world champion pipers.  It is said that to make a great Piper it takes seven years and three generations.

I have played with the Following Pipe Bands:

  • Manhattan College Pipe Band
  • Strath James Pipe Band
  • Clan McNeil
  • Northern Virginia FireFighters Pipe Band
